About Me (and Mischief)

James Gingold is an entertainment professional who combines deep storytelling and interactive roleplaying into fun and educational experiences. His passion is to help other people tell their stories.

He is a seasoned TV writer, director, and producer probably best known as an endless font of creativity and hard work, primarily in docu/travel programs. His focus has always been on putting character and story first, and making sure that every hero has a journey. As a co-executive producer he led teams of as many as fifty people, and was responsible for communicating effectively between crew, cast, and the executives at the network and home production office.

Most recently, he launched The Adventure Academy–an educational after-school program for 8-12 year olds that teaches STEM skills, teamwork, and broadcast literacy using roleplaying games.

Currently, he’s expanding his business ventures into themed immersive entertainment and live events that reach additional audiences. He has a stage show for adults in production, and many more ideas he hopes to bring to fruition in the near future. He’s always on the look out for stories to tell and opportunities to put on a great show.

Mischief is a mutt bossie-doodle focused on peanut butter, hikes with his dad, and napping. He is a very good boy.
