A Zotan-Rrug man set a new land speed record Lyriday near the Great Desert Eye—the natural wonder of concentric red and orange sand rings spanning hundreds of miles across the surface of the southeastern Wastes.

Bilespawn Axeface, 43, piloted a ‘splodust powered rocket car that managed to cross the Eye’s face in just four minutes.

The vehicle, named Neckbreaker, is the culmination of years of research and development by Axeface in pursuit of what he calls “being the fastest dune-fucker in the wastes.”

The Great Desert Eye has seen it all. The colored sand swirls here in concentric circles a hundred miles wide; the natural wonder a result of ancient geographic change. The eye has witnessed the rise and fall of civilizations, and today it will watch a Zotan-Rrug set a new land speed record.

Bilespawn Axeface, 43, has built many iterations of ‘splodust powered rocketcars over the years. The new model is named Neckbreaker, and featured a rocket engine fueled by ten pounds of the combustible material.

“For years the scientific community has looked down on the potential of ‘splodust power,” said Axeface. “Well now they can eat my ass.”

Ready for a hot take on transportation? How about an explosive rocket powered dune buggy!?

For most of recorded history, travel has relied on wind, water, or beast power, but one Zotan-Rrug man is prepared to rewrite the book with the unveiling of his latest rocketcar, Neckbreaker.

Bilespawn Axeface, 43, has brought his vehicle to the Great Desert Eye to “see” how she handles in the Wastes. The Eye is a natural rock formation of red and orange sand in the shape of an eye hundreds of miles across. The dunes are flat here, making it a great place for setting land speed records.

“It’s gonna go fast,” summed up Axeface. “Like your mom.”
